We would like to upgrade our existing CCTV system so it produces better quality recordings.
The system is a Vidos NVR (Bosch) video over IP. The existing system consists of a main server, seven external and four internal Cameras. Each camera has a “VIP 10 Single-channel MPEG-4 Encoder“to convert video into a IP signal.
We also have a standalone IP camera that we would like to upgrade to the main system.
The external cameras need to be upgraded to NWC-0495 DinionXF Day/Night IP Cameras. These have an IP converter built in and have a higher resolution. This will require additional CAT 5 wiring from the current position of the VIP 10 to the existing camera housing.
The internal “Dome” cameras need upgrading to 540+ TVL either using the existing domes or new ones.
The network setup and assigning of IP addresses will be carried out by our onsite IT support.
The upgrades will need to be carried out during school holidays.
